Among Giants (1998)

In the shadowy outskirts of Sheffield, Ray, a man with a rebel spirit, is clandestinely employed to coat the colossal power towers punctuating a 15-mile stretch of electric veins. His loyal crew, bound by camaraderie and shared dreams, includes the youthful charmer, Steve, who shares a unique bond with Ray. The equilibrium of their world is disrupted with the arrival of Gerry, an audacious Australian with a flair for adventure and a knack for mountain climbing. Despite the crew's apprehension, Ray hires Gerry, ignoring their adamant objections to having a woman on the job. A whirlwind romance blossoms between Ray and Gerry, culminating in a marriage proposal. But this love story is not without its hurdles. Steve's jealousy flares, Ray's ex-wife berates him for lavishing Gerry while neglecting his own children, and there's a portent that the free-spirited Gerry may not be around for long. Amid the turmoil of romantic entanglements and familial obligations, the looming deadline to complete the job adds to the pressure.
