Plot

Fresh out of a solitary year in prison, Nick Davis, with a mysterious past and an even murkier future, finds employment as a forklift operator in a harbor warehouse, a seemingly innocuous establishment owned by the formidable Yakuza patriarch, Isshin Tendo. This tranquil facade shatters when the warehouse becomes the battlefield for a ruthless onslaught led by Italian Mafia kingpin, Dino Campanela. Amidst the chaos, Nick saves the life of Shuji Sawamoto, the Yakuza's influential representative in America, and this act of bravery leads him down a path of loyalty, danger, and intrigue. Becoming an unexpected hero, Nick is welcomed into the Yakuza family, pledged to their service under the watchful eye of his new godfather, Shuji. Yet, beneath this cloak of allegiance, hides a lonely FBI undercover agent, tasked with infiltrating this underworld labyrinth. When news of Campanela's plans for a massive attack on the Yakuza reach the FBI, Nick's superior, Littman, decides to step back, leaving the Yakuza to their fate. However, the deep bond Nick has forged with Shuji and his goddaughter Yuko compels him to defy orders and stand beside his adopted Japanese family, setting the stage for a dangerous intersection of duty, loyalty, and survival.
