Ain't No Way Back (1990)

In the heartland of a timeless countryside, two city dwellers on a tranquil weekend retreat find themselves entwined in the life of a distressed damsel, a country lass who is being tormented by the rival McDonald family. As they intervene, fate twists and turns, leaving one man dead and the other seriously injured. This survivor finds refuge in the humble Campbell cabin, his recovery paced by the rhythm of country life and the tender care of the daughter who owns his heart. Their blossoming romance is shadowed by a strange warning - a feud is on the horizon, as inevitable as the setting sun.
