Absentia (2011)

In the shadow of a seven-year absence, Tricia attempts to piece together the fragments of a life left behind after her husband Daniel's baffling disappearance. As she stands on the precipice of declaring him legally 'dead in absentia,' her younger sister Callie enters the fray, her presence amplifying both the emotional turmoil and the chilling mystery that surrounds them. Callie, drawn by an inexplicable pull, gets ensnared in the eerie allure of a nearby tunnel, a seemingly ordinary structure hiding a sinister secret. As the layers of this enigma unfurl, a chilling correlation emerges. The tunnel, an ominous specter lurking in the background of their lives, appears tied to a disturbing string of inexplicable vanishings. The haunting realization dawns on them that Daniel's presumed death may not be as 'natural' as it seemed.
