About Face (1952)

In the hallowed halls of the Southern Military Institute, a fictionalized reflection of the prestigious Virginia Military Institute, three soon-to-be graduates grapple with trials of love, loyalty, and baseball. Biff Roberts, Tony Williams, and Dave Crouse are on the cusp of stepping into their roles as commissioned officers in the U.S. Army. As they navigate their final three months, they're swept up in an array of personal dilemmas. Williams and Crouse find themselves ensnared in webs of romantic entanglements. However, it's Roberts, the institute's star baseball pitcher, who faces a unique predicament. Secretly wedded, his college sweetheart is expecting a child, a secret they must carefully guard. As their lives intertwine, Williams and Crouse face the challenge of keeping Roberts' secret safe.
