The property's former resident, Chloe (Lindsay Seim - Insidious: Chapter 2), a gifted medium, returns to her roots, unveiling a layer of the town's history that lingers like a dark shadow. The property's original owner, the infamous Nathan Cross (Rob Archer - Lost Girl), has left an indelible mark of post-mortem atrocities that seep into the very fabric of Wakefield. The day dawns with a rare celestial event, as powerful solar flares target North America, transforming Wakefield into the epicenter of an atmospheric anomaly.
