A Serious Man (2009)

Things really aren't going well at home for physics professor Larry Gopnik. His wife Judith plans to divorce him. Larry's children are equally problematic: his son Danny is more interested in marijuana than school, and his daughter Sarah is stealing from him to save up for a nose job. The situation at work isn't much better. A student is bribing him for better grades, and someone is anonymously warning the school not to grant Larry tenure. Can his life get any worse?
