In the heart of San Francisco, Tenley Sweeney, a dedicated horticulturist with a fervor for sustainability, finds herself caught in an intricate web of emotions and circumstances. Nurturing a long-standing crush on Jared Carr, a fellow enthusiast she met on an online sustainability forum, Tenley finally musters the courage to step out of her comfort zone. Urged on by her spunky roommate Cami, she arranges an in-person date, a coffee rendezvous with Jared, a man known for his commitment to curbing plastic pollution.
However, a twist of fate intervenes when Jared, en route to their meeting, is involved in a tragic bicycle accident. Unconscious and hospitalized, he leaves Tenley waiting, clueless and disappointed.
