Plot

In the heart of World War II, Major Steve Trevor's plane plunges into the enigmatic vicinity of Paradise Island, a clandestine sanctuary home to the mighty, ever-youthful Amazons. Princess Diana, an Amazonian royal, rescues the unconscious Major, learning about the raging war against the Nazis in the process. Recognizing the urgency of the crisis, the Amazons resolve to dispatch one of their own to the battlefield. Against the backdrop of this pivotal decision, Diana, prohibited from partaking in the selection, stealthily steps in, triumphantly earning the honor and duty to venture into the man's world. Carrying the still-unconscious Major to safety, she adopts the guise of Yeoman Diana Prince. When malevolent forces menace the nation, she transforms into Wonder Woman, a beacon of hope, endowed with a magical belt bestowing incredible strength, bullet-deflecting bracelets, a returning tiara weapon, and a truth-compelling unbreakable magic lasso. Post-WW II, Diana retreats to the Island but destiny has her cross paths with Steve Trevor Jr., an agent for IADC, three decades later. Interpreting this uncanny coincidence as a signal, she re-enters the world of men, resuming her role as the paragon of female superheroes.
