Plot

Haunting the dark alleyways of a city wrapped in mystery is the once-celebrated detective Moo Jin-Hyuk (Jang Hyuk). His stellar reputation of cracking high-profile cases is shadowed by a personal tragedy - the cruel murder of his wife by a cold-blooded serial killer. Consumed by guilt and a thirst for vengeance, he surreptitiously hunts for the monster who shattered his world. Simultaneously, the story introduces the prodigious Kang Kwon-Joo (Lee Ha-Na), fresh from the police academy with commendable scores. She finds herself in the pulse-pounding epicenter of an emergency 112 call center. Her life takes a chilling turn when a savage murder call echoes through her headset, the victim being her father, a dedicated police sergeant. The chilling audio of the crime scene drives her to the U.S., where she hones her skills and returns as an adept voice profiler. Their paths intertwine in the pursuit of justice, bound by the shared agony of lost family. Together, Jin-Hyuk and Kwon-Joo navigate the labyrinth of crime, their every step shadowed by the elusive serial killer whose deeds have marked their lives indelibly. Their shared mission: to bring their loved ones' killer to justice and restore peace to their tormented souls.
