Terriers (2010)

This is a critically acclaimed but short-lived crime comedy/drama. It involves an ex-cop from the fictional town of Ocean Beach near San Diego and his friend an ex-criminal who works together to solve crimes. It also includes their girlfriends and ex-wives. Their private detective agency is unlicensed, which sometimes gets in the way of their work. Many of the jobs they take were either overlooked by the police or considered cold cases. One of the main problems they regularly face is a lack of funds, which leads them to become bounty hunters or to use unscrupulous methods to get clients.
