Parks and Recreation (2009)

The Parks and Recreation department of the city of Pawnee is always underfunded, but department member Leslie Knope is not the type of woman to give up. Her continuous optimism keeps the department on track, but the track she sets it out on is often defined by her own eccentric way of thinking. Surrounding her are a colorful group of characters that include a fashion-driven entrepreneur, a sarcastic and morbid receptionist, and a department head who is against government intervention entirely. But despite the frustrations they face alone the way, Leslie manages to keep spirits afloat and run the department like a family.
