Plot

In the whirlwind world of Mary Stayed Out All Night, we meet Wi Mae Ri, a vivacious, down-to-earth young woman, the offspring of a luckless entrepreneur constantly fleeing from debt collectors. She unexpectedly forges a deep bond with the unconventional, soulful indie artist, Kang Moo Kyul, following a comical near miss in a car. Concurrently, her father Wi Dae Han is rescued from his relentless creditors by a former companion, Jung Suk, recently returned from a prosperous stint in Japan's showbiz industry. As part of his repayment, Jung Suk devises a pact with Dae Han to marry off Mae Ri to his son, Jung In. Desperate to evade this dilemma, Mae Ri implores Moo Kyul to masquerade as her spouse, only to find herself entangled in a more complex web. Her father introduces a 100-day trial, challenging her to split her time evenly between Moo Kyul and Jung In. At the end of this period, she must choose whom to wed, catapulting her life into an amusing, heart-tugging tug-of-war between love and duty.
