Plot
The Shorts appears on the outside to be an ordinary Los Angeles family, but that doesn't do justice to the deep inner lives of each family member. Each episode looks at the story through a group of smaller stories that reflect the unique perspective of a different member of the family. And with over a dozen members spread over three generations, each story is more complex than it initially appears. While their personal journeys may bring them in vastly different directions, family ultimately brings them all back together in the end.
