In the heart of the wilderness, the Marshalls - resilient widower and ranger Rick and his spirited offspring, Will and Holly - embark on a routine outdoor expedition. Their journey swiftly turns into an odyssey of survival when a seismic tremor rips open a chasm, plunging them into a tumultuous river ride over an uncharted waterfall. Emerging from the rapids, they find themselves not just alive, but in a world estranged from their own - a realm they eventually name, the Land of the Lost.
