A mexican telenovela TV show about a romantic story between Esmeralda Rosales and Jose Armando Peñnareal. Esmeralda is a blind and very poor young girl living in a shack with her stepmother while Jose Armando is a young well educated doctor from the famous and noble family of Peñnareal who is about to get married. Their lifes crosses one day when they meet each other and Jose Armando falls in love with Esmeralda.
