In the chilling dawn of November 22, 2010, Japan is rocked by an onslaught of ten missiles, an act of terror that soon earns the moniker "Careless Monday." Despite its magnitude, this event mysteriously leaves no victims in its wake, and it gradually fades from the collective memory of the populace. Fast forward three months and across the Pacific, we meet Saki Morimi, a vibrant young woman basking in the adventurous glow of her graduation trip in the United States. As fate would have it, she finds herself embroiled in an unexpected predicament in front of the illustrious White House, only to be saved by an enigmatic stranger - a fellow Japanese named Akira Takizawa. Takizawa, however, is an enigma cloaked in mystery. He is a man with no past, his memory a blank slate, and his attire non-existent save for a gun in one hand and a mobile phone in the other. The latter, a seemingly ordinary device, is loaded with an astronomical sum of 8,200,000,000 yen in digital currency. As the intrigue surrounding Takizawa deepens, Saki finds herself drawn into a world where nothing is as it seems, and the forgotten echoes of "Careless Monday" start resurfacing. This is the intriguing world of "Eden of the East," where mystery and adventure intertwine in a captivating dance of suspense.
