Theo Conroy's life is intensely troubled. He's currently stressed at his job as a banker, but that's just scratching the surface of a history that included him being declared not guilty in the drowning death of his past wife. Married again, his relationship to the much younger Susanna is already starting to fall apart. At the heart of this fracture is a nest of secrets that Susanna has been shielding from him. When they retreat with their six-year old daughter Ella to a home in the Welsh countryside, they begin to experience circumstances that can only be described as supernatural.
