In the heart of middle-class England, we find ourselves amidst the entwined lives of two women in love, Olivia and Alex, a successful lawyer and a vivacious, pot-smoking artist respectively. Despite the gap in their ages and perspectives, their love is undeniable and vibrant. Yet, the serenity of their existence is punctuated by the presence of their incessantly annoying, Casanova-like neighbour, John. When the prospect of parenthood unexpectedly surfaces, the contrast in their desires becomes apparent - Olivia's yearning for children clashes with Alex's ambivalence. Amidst this emotional whirlwind, the neighbourly nuisance, John, finds a way to befriend them, leading to a series of disastrously poor decisions that spiral their lives into chaos. Faced with the double surprise of both women falling pregnant, their relationship is set on a tumultuous path. This forces each of them to question their outlook on life, their love for each other and the true essence of their relationship.
