Plot

In the pulsating finale of George A. Hirliman's cinematic quartet starring George O'Brien, "Windjammer" embarks on a turbulent sea adventure, a fitting conclusion to a series that includes "Daniel Boone", "Park Avenue Logger", and "Hollywood Cowboy". This thrilling tale, expertly steered by longtime O'Brien collaborator David Howard, serves as a testament to the director's knack for delivering high-octane entertainment. O'Brien dons the persona of a suave subpoena server, tasked with handing a crucial senate inquiry subpoena to the elusive Brandon Evans, otherwise known as The Commodore. Failure is not an option, as his job hangs in the balance. Cleverly camouflaged as a high-society playboy, he infiltrates the Commodore's luxurious yacht during a high-stakes race. Their maritime merriment is abruptly shattered when the yacht falls prey to a nefarious windjammer helmed by the ruthless gun-runner, Captain Morgan, played to chilling perfection by William Hall. The survivors, including the Commodore's resplendent daughter (Constance Worth in a dazzling performance), are plucked from the sea's icy grasp only to be condemned to a life of servitude on the windjammer. But the gun-runners soon discover that they've picked up more than they bargained for. As O'Brien's true grit surfaces, heads begin to roll, and the captors start to regret not leaving him to the mercy of the ocean. Dive into "Windjammer", a rollicking sea saga that will leave you breathlessly riding the waves of suspense and action.
