Where to Invade Next (2015)

This is a tongue-in-cheek documentary by Michael Moore in which he visits various countries to find customs and policies that would improve life for Americans if they were adopted. Some of his discoveries include workers’ rights in Italy, elementary school education and school lunches in France and debt-free higher education in Slovenia. When he visits Norway, he compares its humane prison system to the cruel, overcrowded prisons in the U.S. Moore discovers advanced power for women in several countries, including Iceland and Tunisia. It’s not all criticism. In the end, he points out how many freedoms people around the world enjoy originated in the U.S.
