In the vibrant heart of Mexico, we find artist Jimmy Hudson (Cary Grant), trapped by an unpaid hotel bill, and opera singer Louise Fuller (Grace Moore), shackled by complicated visa issues that have her stuck far from the glamour of her New York stage. Their marital knot tied, Fuller is free to return to her grand opera career in New York, with Hudson not far behind.
