Welcome to the Space Show (2010)

In a secluded woodland corner of the world, nestled among the mountains, lies a tiny village. Here, five spirited primary school children convene to savor their summer holidays in a camp, basking in the freedom and natural splendor that exists far from the watchful eyes of adults. Their days are brimming with carefree joy until a chance encounter changes everything. They stumble upon a creature in distress, mistaken at first for an injured dog. This creature, however, is not of this world. Named Pochi, this extraterrestrial being is on a pivotal mission, seeking a mysterious substance found on Earth, a substance so precious it sparks desire across the universe. Unfortunately, Pochi's quest is interrupted by a fierce battle, leaving him severely wounded and unable to continue his search. With the children's aid, Pochi recovers and, in return, offers a reward beyond their wildest dreams. When asked where they would like to travel, the children respond with youthful spontaneity, "As far as possible!" Thus, an astonishing adventure is sparked, beginning with a trip to the moon, courtesy of their new alien friend. As their journey unfolds, they unearth a startling revelation. The universe-coveted substance is surprisingly an essential part of Japanese cuisine, and as fate would have it, one child carries it unknowingly in his pocket. This realization sets the stage for an adventure that is both extraordinary and deliciously peculiar, just like the mysterious substance they carry.
