Weather Girl (2009)

Meet Sylvia, the fiery weather girl from a prominent Seattle TV station, who is on the cusp of her 35th birthday. With a spirit as unpredictable as the weather she forecasts, she publicly denounces her philandering boyfriend Dale, the station's suave anchorman, during a live broadcast. Accusing him of infidelity with his co-anchor, she makes her dramatic exit from the show, severing ties with Dale who blames her icy demeanor for his indiscretions. In the aftermath, Sylvia seeks temporary refuge in the apartment of her younger brother Walt, whose place serves as a second home to his neighbor Byron, a tech-savvy computer programmer. As Sylvia navigates her way through job hunting, Byron unexpectedly offers himself as a no-strings-attached companion to help her recover from her heartbreak, but under one condition - Walt must never know. Embarking on this whirlwind journey, Sylvia must face a series of challenges - securing work in a cut-throat industry, cohabiting with her brother, resolving her unresolved feelings for Dale, and perhaps most importantly, thawing her perceived coldness. The question remains: how will she weather this storm?
