Plot
In the bustling world of the Oberoi family, patriarch Kishan Oberoi (Shammi Kapoor) finds his trust divided among his three sons - the married Dilip (Shakti Kapoor) and Ashish (Rana Jung Bahadur), and the lovestruck Raj (Govinda), who is enamored with the beautiful Meena (Preeti Jhangiani). While the elder sons bask in their father's distrust, Raj shines as the devoted and trustworthy heir. However, the equilibrium of this affluent family is shattered when a tragic accident strips Raj of his sanity.
Seizing the opportunity, Dilip and Ashish orchestrate a ruthless conspiracy, aiming to seize their father's fortune by declaring Raj mentally unfit and plotting their father's demise. As Raj mysteriously fades from the scene and Kishan meets with a suspicious fall, the sinister Murari (Kader Khan), an opportunistic employee of the Oberois, steps onto the stage.
Using a doppelgänger, Banne Khan (also Govinda) and his faux-nurse wife, Salma Khan (Raveena Tandon), Murari plans to puppeteer the Oberoi family, spinning a web of deception. As Banne Khan masquerades as the lost Raj, Murari and his pawn prepare to take the reins of the Oberoi empire, ready to savor the fruits of their treachery. The stage is set for a game of shadows where nothing is as it seems, and every move could unravel secrets that change the fate of the Oberoi family forever.
