Voice from the Stone (2017)

Verena is a nurse who has just arrived in Italy. It's the early 1950s, Italy is in a recession following the war, and she's been put in charge of caring for a young orphan named Jakob. Jakob hasn't spoken a word since the disappearance of his mother, and while Verena only wants the best for him, she begins to suspect that he's being controlled by another presence trapped within the walls of his mansion. If there is really a supernatural force at work, she's going to need to untangle the secrets behind the house and discover why he can no longer speak.
