Caught in the whirlwind of their mother's ceaseless work schedule and enduring her relentless criticism, siblings Elizabeth, Jeremy, and Harry Martin yearn for a change. Their school life is no haven either, as they constantly clash with bullies and grapple with the allure of forbidden cigarettes. In the midst of this tumult, they cross paths with the enigmatic gardener, Mrs. Cavour. She reveals an ancient secret - a spell that can make their mother vanish into thin air. With the peculiar policy of the market, they are granted three tokens, each giving them a chance to bring a new mother home. However, the quest for a perfect mother is far from simple. The mothers they select with their precious tokens are far from what they'd envisioned, leaving them feeling adrift in a sea of regret and longing for the familiar warmth of their own mother. To break the spell and bring back their real mother, they must delve into their faded memories and muster a recollection of her. In this fantastical journey, they learn the real essence of a mother's love and value of family, all while navigating the enchanting chaos of the Mommy Market.
