In the glitz and grime of Hollywood, we find Dick Dickster, a once-celebrated film director now reduced to a boozy, insolvent has-been, marred by a formidable ego and acidic temperament. His manager, Sammy Davas Jr., is on the verge of severing all ties. His wife, Hardy, is not only parting ways but also demanding a hefty alimony. To add to his woes, Dick is in the crosshairs of mob enforcer Tony Baritoni, sent to retrieve a debt of fifty thousand dollars. Meanwhile, District Attorney Ed Lawler is stirring up old statutory rape allegations from Dick's infamous film, Cult of Doom. Amidst this chaos, film school student Tim Meeks embarks on a documentary project, seeking to unravel the enigmatic Dickster through interviews with an array of producers, directors, and actors who've had the dubious pleasure of crossing paths with him. Suddenly, salvation appears in the form of Coco Hart, a mysterious adult film producer, who throws Dick a lifeline he can't refuse - a hundred grand to transmogrify his Cult of Doom into the salacious Cult of Poon. As the wheels of this unconventional project start turning, a fresh face, Peaches Ripen, enters the scene. An orphan on a quest to uncover her roots, she wonders if her lineage might be linked to this motley crew? As the filming progresses, Dick finds himself in a constant tug-of-war, battling not only with the unpredictable Coco and the male lead Hug Nuts, but also with the entire female cast, including the formidable Bonnie Rotten. Is Dickster heading for a catastrophic downfall, or will he manage to navigate this treacherous path, ultimately emerging victorious with his pockets full and his reputation restored?
