London is under constant attack from the Nazi bombing runs known as the Blitz, but ordinary people continue their patriotic efforts to support the war effort even amidst the threat of constant bombings. Catrin Cole is enlisted to create propaganda to boost the spirits of the British citizens, and her first major project is the unlikely story of a Dunkirk survivor. But putting together a major film won't be easy, particularly given the fact that Catrin is a woman in a field dominated by men. But despite complications from just about everywhere, she pushes on with her goal to make the film a reality.
