The Village (2004)

For years, a rural village has stayed safe within the bounds of the forest. The monstrous creatures that roam beneath the trees do not enter the village as long as the village residents stay away from the forest. The pact has lasted for years, keeping the village safe but cut off from the rest of the world. When a crisis forces Lucius Hunt to enter the village, he’s risking everything his community has ever known. Will his sacrifice be worth it?
