Plot

In the shadowy world of carnival sideshows, Professor Echo, a master ventriloquist, enlists the aid of two peculiar accomplices; Midge, the cunning midget, and Hercules, the sideshow's burly strongman. Together, they form a nefarious band of thieves known as "The Unholy Three." Disguised as the elderly Mrs. O'Grady, the seemingly benign pet store owner, Echo sells mute parrots and mynah birds to an unsuspecting, upscale clientele, assuring them of the birds' loquacious abilities through his ventriloquist talents. His partners in crime, Hercules and Midge, play the roles of his son-in-law and infant grandson, respectively, adding to the facade of a harmless family business. Rosie, Echo's light-fingered lover, is the unsuspecting wife caught up in their dark exploits. When disgruntled customers inevitably complain about their silent feathered companions, the family pays them a visit under the pretense of helping the birds find their voices, seizing the opportunity to survey the house for their next heist. In this unique blend of crime and carnival life, "The Unholy Three" weave a web of deception and thievery, using their unique skills and unexpected disguises to pull off a string of daring robberies, leaving their high-class victims none the wiser.
