Costi, a humble hero in his child's bedtime stories, leads a life of tranquillity, his evenings filled with tales of Robin Hood and adventures that dance in his son's dreams. A defender of the oppressed in storybooks, he finds himself thrust into a real-life adventure when his cash-strapped neighbour approaches him with a captivating proposition. The neighbour, harboring a secret, believes a treasure is buried deep within the garden of his ancestral home in Romania, a fortune that could alleviate their financial strains. Tantalized by the lure of this hidden wealth, the neighbour entreats Costi to join him. All it takes is hiring a metal detector, and whatever glinting treasure they unearth would be shared equally. Costi, though initially doubtful, is eventually swept up in the promise of this clandestine quest. As the weekend presents itself as their time limit, Costi agrees to navigate this uncharted territory in search of the buried loot. Their treasure hunt is riddled with obstacles, but Costi's unwavering determination refuses to be shaken. To his wife and son, he's not just a teller of tales but a man embarking on an adventure of his own, a real-life hero on a quest that could change their lives forever. As the clock ticks, Costi is steadfast in his resolve, undeterred by the hurdles they encounter, for nothing and no one can quell his determination to unearth the treasure.
