Plot

In the high-octane world of Wall Street, Wayne Garret, a young and ambitious trader, sets his sights on the pinnacle of success. His relentless pursuit of excellence is echoed in his tempestuous relationship with Nikki Torman, the exquisite yet indulged progeny of a Wall Street tycoon, John Torman. With Nikki by his side, Wayne becomes the cynosure of his contemporaries. Meanwhile, in the modest borough of Providence, Wayne's father, Antonio, battles the dual adversities of ailing health and the struggle to keep their family restaurant afloat. Despite Wayne's sincere appeals to retire, Antonio's unwavering loyalty to his long-serving staff compels him to carry on. Wayne's world takes an unexpected turn during a lavish dinner at a swanky Manhattan restaurant, where he meets Sioux, a charming waitress with aspirations of curating in a museum. Her radiant optimism and zest for life captivates Wayne, offering him a refreshing departure from his cutthroat professional life. However, chaos ensues when John Torman's corporation acquires Wayne's bank, offering him a tantalizing stock option package on the condition that he lets go of his loyal team, including his close confidante, Duffy Dyer. Adding to the turmoil, there's an undercurrent of deceit within Torman's company, and the enticing stock options come with their own set of hidden complications. Caught in a whirlwind of high-stakes choices, Wayne teeters between the intoxicating allure of wealth and power, and his burgeoning love for Sioux. The Trade unfolds as a riveting tale of ambition, loyalty, and love, where every choice carries a significant cost.
