The Tooth Fairy (2006)

In the serene folds of Northern California lies the River Bend Road, where Darcy Wagner and her precocious ten-and-a-half-year-old daughter Pamela are journeying towards a tranquil retreat, the bed and breakfast of Darcy's boyfriend, Peter Campbell. Abandoning his medical career, Peter has found solace in an old house, intending to lead a quieter life and devote his time to writing a book. However, a sinister undercurrent threatens this quaint sanctuary when Darcy encounters the hostile Hammond Brothers at a local gas station. While Peter attempts to mend the house with his friend Bobby Boulet and accommodate his first guest, the spirited student Stephanie "Star" Roberts, Darcy and Pamela finally arrive. Peter reveals his legal disputes with the Hammond Brothers, urging Darcy to disregard the unsettling incident. Meanwhile, Pamela strikes an unexpected friendship in the barn with a girl named Emma, who unveils an eerie tale. The house, she claims, once belonged to the notorious Tooth Fairy Witch, a malevolent entity that slaughtered children to harvest their milk teeth. Alarmingly, Pamela still clings to her last milk-tooth, marking her as the next potential victim. Despite sharing Emma's chilling story with her mother and Peter, Pamela's warnings are dismissed as mere child's tales. But the peaceful retreat descends into a nightmare when their friends inexplicably meet gruesome ends within the confines of the house. Confronted with a harsh reality, Darcy and Peter are forced to accept the presence of something supernatural. The Tooth Fairy, a relic of a brutal past, has re-emerged. With an insatiable thirst for Pamela's fallen tooth, she leaves a deadly trail in her wake, threatening to shatter their newfound tranquility. Their idyllic vacation quickly spirals into a desperate struggle for survival against an ancient malevolence that won't rest until it claims what it desires.
