In the year 1985, Harvard-researcher Dr. Dennis Alan, fresh from a successful exploration in Amazonas, is beckoned by Andrew Cassedy, the president of a distinguished Boston-based pharmaceutical company. Intrigued by the enigmatic tale of a man named Christophe, who reportedly died in 1978 only to return from the grave, Cassedy tasks Dr. Alan with the mission to unveil the secrets of a potent voodoo drug thought to be the catalyst of this resurrection.
