The Over the Hill Gang (1969)

In this timeless western comedy, Captain Oren Hayes, a stalwart of the Texas Rangers, swaps the rugged frontier for the quaint charm of a neighboring town to visit his beloved daughter, Hannah. However, he soon finds himself drawn into a political battleground. Hannah's husband, Jeff, is courageously squaring off against ruthless town boss, Nard Lundy, in a race for the mayoral seat. Lundy, a man steeped in corruption, has no plans of surrendering his power to the principled Jeff Rose. Resorting to brute force, he employs his henchmen to intimidate and assault his opposition. In response, Hayes summons his brotherhood of old Rangers, whose spirits, although weathered by time, remain unbroken. These seasoned heroes ride into town, their past glory echoing in their steps. Yet, they quickly come face to face with the reality of their age. No longer able to rely on their physical prowess, they must instead tap into their cunning and collective wisdom to outwit and overcome Lundy.
