The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (2018)

The loss of the Stahlbaum matriarch has left the entire family despondent during the Christmas season, but teenager Clara perhaps feels the loss worth. The family consists of scientists, and Clara is given an elaborate gift for Christmas, one that includes a key and a box that it opens. When she places the key in the lock, she discovers that it transports her to a magical land known as the Fourth Realm filled with gingerbread people and rat soldiers. Fourth Realm has been created by Clara's mother, and Clara is its princess. Unfortunately, the kingdom appears to be in danger.
