Plot

Five years have passed since the tragic train wreck that supposedly claimed the life of Adolphe Noblet. His loyal servant and friends still pay him reverence, though they're less than fond of Sylvaine's new husband, Gustave, the father of her newborn. The whispers of Sylvaine's circle lead her to a new hairdresser, the charming Leopold Trebel, who ignites a spark of familiarity. As fate would have it, Leopold is none other than Adolphe himself, but with a five-year gap in his memory thanks to a bout of amnesia. In an attempt to restore his memory, a doctor uses hypnosis, but the procedure erases all his experiences post-accident, leaving him under the impression he's been unconscious for mere hours. The doctor, fearing that the truth could be fatal, tries to shield him from his lost years. Complications arise with the sudden appearance of Leopold's wife, who, along with their two sets of twins, insist he is Leopold. Ultimately, the truth is revealed by Gustave, forcing Adolphe/Leopold to grapple with a daunting choice – to embrace the life of Adolphe or Leopold, and decide the family he truly belongs to.
