Plot
Washington D.C.-based psychiatrist Carol Bennell notices that several of her patients display bizarre emotion-free behavior that spreads to her husband and then the public. She discovers that an alien virus from space is altering the DNA of people and taking over their personalities. She teams up with scientist Dr. Ben Driscoll in a desperate race against time to prevent the virus from assimilating all of Earth’s humanity. Her own son may be the key to defeating the alien epidemic because his blood carries a special immunity – but can she and her son survive the onslaught before it's too late?
