The Hazing (2004)

On a spine-chilling Halloween night, the aspiring members of the Sigma Si and Delta Pi sororities embark on a daring scavenger hunt. Their initiation rites lead them to the eerie domain of their enigmatic Professor Kapps, a man infamous for his fascination with the occult. During a clandestine theft, two students, Doug Leary and Marsha Glazer, unwittingly disrupt the professor's dark ritual, culminating in a fatal accident that finds Kapps impaled by a spear. In an attempt to erase all traces of their trespass, the duo confiscate Kapps' mystical staff and ancient book of incantations. They retreat to a decrepit mansion, the designated rendezvous point where the divided groups are to wait until morning. In the shadows, two senior frat-house members lie in wait, ready to deploy a series of pranks designed to terrify the unsuspecting pledges. However, the night takes a turn for the grotesque when the vengeful spirit of Professor Kapps, using the stolen staff and incantation book, begins to possess the bodies of the trembling students. As their numbers dwindle in a gruesome series of deaths, the survivors are gripped by a paralyzing fear. The chilling truth dawns on them - their friends are now mere puppets under the control of their deceased professor. Trust evaporates into the cold night air as everyone becomes a suspect. The students must unravel the terrifying mystery quickly, or none of them will survive this horrifying night of The Hazing.
