Christine Adams, a nineteen-year-old filled with dreams bigger than her small town in British Columbia, makes an impulsive decision to leave her fractured family life behind and chase love to Los Angeles. She dreams of a blissful domestic life with her boyfriend, Eddie Molina, who remains oblivious to her unannounced arrival. However, once submerged in the reality of life with Eddie, Christine quickly realizes her restlessness can't be tamed by mere dreams of a family. However, when Tommy loses his job after defending Christine's honor, they are forced to relocate back to Los Angeles.
