Plot

In the movie "The Bros" (2017), we are introduced to two estranged brothers, the cash-strapped history teacher, Suk-bong, and his ambitious younger sibling, Ju-bong, a flourishing businessman entrenched in the world of construction. Their paths cross once again after many years due to their father's funeral in their quaint hometown, Andong. However, the reunion is far from a sentimental family gathering. The financially desperate Suk-bong is primarily concerned about finding any valuable relics at the ancestral home, while Ju-bong is consumed with securing the lucrative Andong highway construction project for his company. Their individual pursuits take an unexpected turn when they hit a mysterious woman, known only as 'Aurora', with their car. The accident results in Aurora suffering from memory loss, but as the brothers get to know her, they start uncovering long-buried family secrets that they were completely unaware of. The Bros is a captivating tale of two brothers whose self-centered interests are interrupted by an enigmatic stranger, leading them down a path of discovery and unexpected revelations about their own family. Their journey is marked with suspense, humor, and a dash of drama, making it an engaging cinematic experience.
