Plot

In the heart of a humble home, a family man named Buster pours his soul into creating a nautical marvel, the Damfino. This vessel, a spectacular blend of grace and bulk, is a testament to his dogged determination and countless hours of elbow grease. However, its grandeur is too much for the confines of the basement, and upon towing it out, the house tragically succumbs to its size, crumbling into a heap of rubble. Undeterred by this calamity, Buster, the unyielding architect of dreams, embarks on a family adventure across the wide open sea. With his wife and two children in tow, he is determined to gift them an unforgettable cruise aboard the Damfino. But the high seas are a treacherous playground, and they find themselves sailing into a brewing storm. As the Damfino plunges beneath the waves, the family's journey morphs into a series of thrilling escapades. Faced with the relentless elements and the Damfino's questionable seaworthiness, their adventure becomes a test of resilience and unity. Will their handmade boat stand the test of the sea, or will their dreams sink into the depths along with it? The Boat (1921) is a riveting voyage into the heart of human determination and the unpredictable forces of nature.
