Plot

In the world of make-believe and flashing lights of Hollywood, John Person finds himself as an actor not quite making it, battling financial woes and a stagnant career. However, his mundane existence takes an eccentric twist when an opportunity for quick cash lands on his doorstep. His peculiar neighbor, known for his conspiracy theories and off-kilter demeanor, Neely, offers to erase his towering $27,000 debt in exchange for a seemingly straightforward errand: deliver a mysterious blue suitcase to an enigmatic character known only as the Cowboy, in the desolate expanse of Baker. Entering the lonely desert, John finds himself amidst a gallery of oddballs. From the aggressively possessive Randy to his seductive partner Ruthie, every encounter adds a new layer of surrealism to his task. The plot thickens when he learns of Neely's sudden demise, an incident that puts him under the intense scrutiny of the relentless FBI Agent Banks, branding him a prime suspect. Yet, the apex of the oddity is yet to unfold. As the elusive Cowboy makes his appearance, John realizes that the desert's vast emptiness is filled with more than just sand and tumbleweeds. In this maze of eccentricity and enigma, John's simple delivery task spirals into a journey that's far from ordinary, plunging him into a drama that's stranger than any Hollywood script.
