In the heart of the city, the life of renowned architect Leo Waters teeters on the edge of chaos. His marriage to Julia flutters in the winds of discontent, while their son, Martin, caught in life's crosswinds, drops out of college and finds himself lost in the storm of his own confusion. Their daughter, Christina, blossoms into adolescence, navigating the turbulent seas of newfound feelings and physical changes. Into this tempestuous family dynamic, steps Tonya Neely, a determined community organizer from the high-rise public housing Leo designed years ago. She carries the weight of her community's plea for demolition of the now decaying buildings. Tonya knocks on Leo's door, petition in hand, seeking his support to dismantle his own creation. Leo recoils, but Julia aligns with Tonya's cause. Drawn by curiosity, Martin ventures into the heart of the high-rise labyrinth, kindling an unexpected friendship tinged with homoerotic undertones. Meanwhile, Christina, in her quest for validation, edges dangerously close to precipices unseen.
