The 5th Wave (2016)

In this film adaption of the popular Young Adult book, aliens have invaded the planet. It quickly becomes apparent that they are hostile to the Earth and seeking to take it over, murdering millions and sending a variety of plagues upon the planet. Teenager Cassie Sullivan must join with other survivors to protect her family, which includes her younger brother and father. At the same time, they must avoid all members of the planet - even their own government - that seek to capture them.

The 5th Wave is an action movie featuring Chloë Grace Moretz and directed by J Blakeson.
