Superlopez (2018)

On an embattled planet named Chitón, the nefarious General Skorba, driven by conquest and destruction, casts a shadow of terror over its inhabitants. To protect their newborn child from the escalating chaos, Jan, a scientist, and his wife endow the baby with extraordinary powers before sending him to Earth in a space pod. Skorba's telepathic daughter, Ágata, pledges to trace the baby, destroy Earth, and win her father's approval. She trails behind in a second pod, but an unexpected collision in Earth's orbit sends the first pod crashing into Spain instead of the intended destination, USA. Fast forward thirty years, the baby has grown into Juan López, an unassuming office worker with a guarded secret. Raised in a quaint town by his adoptive farmer parents, he conceals his superhuman abilities from the world. However, when he rescues a subway train from a catastrophic crash, his powers get unintentionally exposed. Sensing the revelation, Ágata, now the formidable CEO of a major cleaning company, travels to Spain to capture Juan. His life takes another twist when Luisa Lanas, his university crush, re-enters his life. She is recruited to work at the same company, setting off a chain of events that makes him a target for Ágata's destructive plans. After a botched kidnapping attempt, Juan unravels the truth of his origins and the purpose of his powers. As Ágata mobilizes her clones and alien technology to obliterate Earth and secure her father's approval, Juan finds himself in a battle for survival. He must harness his powers to protect Luisa, his family, and the fate of his home planet, Chitón.
