In the heart of India, Sonu, his sister Sasha, and their confidant Akhil, eke out a meager existence. As Sasha harbors an unrequited love for Akhil, he views her merely as a cherished friend. Faced with dire straits, the trio resort to crime, executing a string of robberies with a deftness that keeps them a step ahead of the law. When Sasha discovers that Akhil's heart does not beat for her, despair leads her to threaten to take her own life, causing a rift between the inseparable threesome.
Inevitably, they drift apart, and Sonu hears the tragic news of Sasha's demise. As the years pass, Sonu crosses paths with a young woman, Dr. Sri Vidya, and her father. He forms a bond with them, providing financial support in their time of need, oblivious to the fact that Sri harbors a secret love for Akhil, a connection forged over a chance encounter involving a damaged TV set and one of Akhil's taxi drivers.
As fate would have it, Akhil reappears in Sonu's life, reigniting the buried past. Unbeknownst to Sri, Sonu blames Akhil for Sasha's death. The plot thickens when they discover that Sasha's departure was not by her own hand - she was murdered.
