Stephen King's It (1990)

The writer of “Carrie” and “The Shining” sees another one of his books come to the screen - this time the small one. A mini-series told through flashbacks, the story takes us to the 1960s where an oddball group of kids are bullied by a gang of brutal toughs. Things get much worse, when they find themselves at the mercy of a shape-shifting demon who takes on the image of a clown named Pennywise.
