In the darkly comedic universe of STASH, we journey alongside Jimmy Fox, a benign and quirky entrepreneur, who stumbles upon a unique business venture. Jimmy, with the help of his cousin Bobby, offers a discreet service, aptly named "PMR" ("post mortem retrieval"). For a reasonable fee, they infiltrate the homes of the recently deceased, whisking away any risqué material before unsuspecting loved ones can stumble upon such hidden secrets.
Jimmy's ventures inevitably ruffle feathers, pushing his long-suffering wife, Alice, to the brink of despair. In addition, the Bookenlachers, Jimmy's menacing in-laws, loom ominously with threats of legal action. But the real chaos unfurls with the arrival of an enigmatic client, dubbed only as Mr. X.
Cloaked in the guise of a children's entertainer with a disturbing affinity for clowns, Mr. X incites an unsettling paranoia within our protagonist. Jimmy is left wrestling with his fears until curiosity pushes him into the shadowy recesses of Mr. X's basement crawlspace, catapulting the story into an unexpected twist.
In STASH, expect a blend of humor and suspense, as we navigate the eccentric world of posthumous secrets and the lengths one man will go to keep them hidden.
